1. BIS hallmarking assurance

Every gold item sold at Kanakanjali Jewellers carries an official Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmark, including the six-character alphanumeric HUID (Hallmark Unique Identification) code. Customers can verify the purity of their jewellery directly in the official BIS Care mobile app.

2. Daily gold rate and transparent billing

Gold jewellery is billed strictly on the prevailing market rate of 22K (916) or 18K (750) gold at the date and time of purchase. Every sale comes with a genuine computerised GST tax invoice showing gross weight, net gold weight, stone weight, making charges and applicable GST.

3. Custom orders and advance deposits

For custom bridal or personalised jewellery orders:

• An advance deposit is required to confirm the order and book the gold rate as agreed.
• The delivery schedule is given at the time of booking.
• Minor weight variations may occur because the work is handcrafted; the final bill is adjusted to the exact net weight.

4. Old gold exchange and buyback

We accept old gold for exchange or buyback after an accurate purity test in your presence. Purity deductions and the valuation are explained clearly before any transaction is finalised.

5. Maintenance, cleaning and sizing

Kanakanjali Jewellers provides complimentary ultrasonic cleaning and inspection for all jewellery bought from our showroom. Ring resizing and minor clasp adjustments are done by our in-house craftsmen at the Sodepur shop.

6. Store address and dispute resolution

All transactions are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
